Data Disclosure Policy
This policy describes the circumstances under which convobix discloses customer data to third parties, including government authorities.
Overview
We take our customers' trust seriously. We will not disclose your data to government authorities or other third parties except as described in this policy and our Privacy Policy. We will fight against requests that we believe are overbroad or legally deficient.
Government Requests
When we receive a legally valid government request for customer data, we: verify the legal validity of the request; provide only the minimum data required by the request; and notify affected customers unless prohibited by law or emergency circumstances. We publish annual statistics on government data requests.
Emergency Disclosure
We may disclose data without legal process if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to prevent imminent harm to life. We will document all such disclosures and notify affected customers as soon as it is safe to do so.
Customer Notification
Our default practice is to notify customers before disclosing their data in response to legal process. We may delay notification if we are legally prohibited from doing so, but will notify as soon as the prohibition expires.
